Rob Smith

Rob Smith has been a specialist in the design, fabrication and application of prosthetics for film, television and theatre for over 28 years and will be taking part in Prosthetics Jam.
Early in his career, Rob provided makeup veteran Wally Schneiderman with prosthetic pieces for Robert Downey Jr. in Richard Attenborough’s ‘Chaplin’ and has since worked on everything from blockbuster movies to TV series’, commercials, pop videos and prestigious West End shows. His artificial blood formulae are considered the best by makeup artists worldwide…for example 200 gallons were spilled in ‘Saving Private Ryan’ alone!

In more recent times, Rob has developed the unique Silicone Flow Blood, a washable blood that doesn’t bead on silicone, and he has just finished a marathon of foam running for ‘Justice League’.
